My usual food in the morning is 5 hard boiled egg whites (1 with yolk) and porridge. Lots of water during the day and the 9 pm snack is 150 gr of cottage cheese with about 10 pieces of nuts (mainly almonds and hazelnuts) and half a cucumber.

I typically eat a light brunch or lunch and a big dinner. Occasionally I'll snack on nuts or corn chips. On the weekends I usually have some type of dessert and more wine that during the week.

Breakfast: coffee with flavored creamer and a greek yogurt or a breakfast sandwich (usually Special K) (250-350)
Lunch: leftovers, or a sandwich & soup, or a frozen meal with extra protein and/or salad (400-600)
Snack: single serving trail mix or greek yogurt (150)
Dinner: pretty basic - grilled meat/fish, starchy side (potatoes, rice, pasta), veggie side (500-700)
After dinner: 1-2 glasses of wine, dark chocolate, sometimes ice cream or other dessert (300-400)

Average around 1800-2000 cals/day total, in maintenance.

I usually have a coffee in the morning with skim milk and a teaspoon of sugar. I try to drink lots of water during the day and have a few snacks if any. At about 4pm I'll have my first meal, usually something with protein (usually 3 scrambled eggs and veggies) and then I might do some exercise if I'm in the mood, and then I'll have dinner at around 8pm which is usually something like rice and veggies or homemade noodles.

90% of my days are made of some of the following: Oats, coffee, stacks of vegies, some kind of protein (chicken breast, eggwhites, tuna, beef), berries, smoothies, protein shake, hardboiled eggs, cottage cheese, greek yogurt, dark chocolate, herbal tea.

I usually choose something and have the same thing every day for breakfast (because we are a small family so need to use things up). So this week's breakfast is 1 granny smith apple, breakfast sandwich (6 egg whites, slice of provolone, 2 strips bacon on an english muffin). I usually do the same for lunch, but some weeks I mix it up. Today was jicama, blueberries, a Jamaican dish and 2 slices of bread. Dinner is usually mixed greens, 1 sweet potato or whole grain, some meat (fish, chicken, pork chop, or shrimp). I don't cook my own dinner so never know what I'm getting but always healthy. Weekends I mostly eat out.

Breakfast:2 boiled eggs/1 slice wholemeal toast 300 cals
Mid morning snack: half scone with tea 200 cals
Lunch: sandwich with chicken or tuna and salad or a pasta salad 400 cals
Dinner: aim for 600-800 cals - varies from curries to pastas to salad to meat and 3 veg etc etc (my hubby calls me Mary Berry as I love to cook/bake)
PM; coffee and chocolate fix for the day or a bowl of cereal if I'm still hungry......300+ cals (i e whatever I have left)

In maintenance I eat around 2100 cals gross - I just eat more of everything. When I was losing I was eating between 1600 and 1800 calories gross.

My diary is also open, but:

Protein shake, 2 fruits, coffee, and a protein bar or cheese stick if I'm still hungry at breakfast. 2 Brazil nuts for selenium since I have an underactive thyroid

Freezer surprise for lunch - usually dinner leftovers; today it was a grilled chicken cutlet, sweet potatoes, a mini pepper and corn

I cook every night or we have leftovers; we never eat out or get takeout food. Tonite is DD's birthday and she wants beef and broccoli with brown rice.
