Hi! May i know what's the difference in these 2. Not sure if it's worth investing in pre workout like c4? Will it help in energy level and recovery?

There's a bunch of stuff in the Preworkout that's not in the coffee.
However, the evidence for most of that stuff doing anything at all is specious at best.
It's not worth the money IMO.

I waited until I was actually falling asleep on the train ride home and dreading my workouts to buy a pre-workout. They aren't necessary. Do I like them? Yes.

    +1

Most pre-workouts have caffeine, but in far higher concentrations than coffee. Generally, PWO's have around 150mg~ of caffeine per scoop, it can go up to 250mg for some stronger ones.

PWO's also have other stimulants like beta-alanine.

To be honest, PWO's aren't all the hype they are made out to be. Is it a good investment? Yes and no.

I find it ok for the days where I know it's just going to be crap, and I also find it useless for some days so I don't bother taking it.

Perhaps buy a 1 serving sample off of a website and judge for yourself on whether it's really worth it?

I like that coffee doesn't give me the jitters, so most days I will do either that or high ceffeine tea.
I use one of the Citadel preworkouts on days that I have the worst case of drag a##. Those seem to cause the least amount of the jitters and itchy palms.

If you have a low tolerance for caffeine, PWO's can cause jitters. I've had it before, it isn't nice.

The itchy feeling is beta-alanine. I can't say I've ever experienced it.
