Hello everyone!
I started a Keto Diet on 06/11/2013. I learned of this awesome lifestyle from reddit.com/r/keto. They recommended this site for tracking of intake. I must say, i am impressed with how many foods have prerecorded values! Much more than any other site I’ve been to. Anyways, i started this diet on a whim (after lurking for a while) because I’ve gained 50 lbs. working my (close to dream) desk job. A longer term goal of mine is to get back to the active teenager i once was, well close to it. I just want to be active with my children and be around longer than my previous lifestyle would have allowed. I plan on sticking around here for the long haul, i have 60 lbs. i want to lose and that will take some time. Plus tracking intake is just a healthy idea. I look forward to meeting some new folks on my journey or possibly inspire someone down the road.
Thanks and Good luck to everyone!

I'm looking for Keto MFP friends. I've been on it off and on for a few years. Trying to drop 10lbs before ComiCon (in a month). My enthusiasm was lagging last night, and i was advised to track macros again.0

Macros are my focus for this diet. I've been trying to maintain a 65/30/5. Eating out makes this hard, I usually end up using dinner time as a "Fix" to get my ratios in check for the day. Keep calm and Keto on.0
