do you log dinner leftovers eaten for breakfast in your Breakfast category or later? i eat that stuff rarely for brek & dislike having dinner-type entries show up in Breakfast later. also dislike having my Snack categories disrupted by full meals. not a huge deal by any means but curious to know what people do

I log what I eat when I eat it. If it was was breakfast, then it gets logged as breakfast. I use the phone/tablet app, so I just type and it quick searches my recent used, so I don't care what shows up where.

The website seriously needs this functionality.

I log it when I eat it - no matter what "type" of food it is. So if I ate pizza for breakfast and ice cream for dinner I would log the pizza under breakfast and the ice cream under dinner.

2nd that that would be a good thing on the site itself

Breakfast, but since I log on the computer it doesn't really break frequent/recent down by meal. It took me a minute to realize why you might care.

I use all entries available starting from AM to PM. So I log first thing whatever I eat in the morning after waking up. If I don't eat again for 5 hours, I skip the 2nd entry of AM and the 3rd entry of AM and go straight for the 4th. Later on if I need to see what the heck was going on (+/- ), then I can at least see the time of day I was consuming. hth.
(ps, diary is open so you can see what I mean, if ya want.)

Aha, fair enough, I wasn't very clear above, sorry!

I usually use the Android app's "Recent" menu, set by meal (vs "all meals") to log. Every now and then I have a "weird" thing for a meal, it's just annoying to see it there & adds an extra 1/2 second to select a different display. First world probs, eh

Got it. I like this approach, preserves some idea of your actual meal timing, which is useful. Thanks :)
