I started walking as a form of exercise just over 12 months ago, to maintain the 50+ pound weight loss I had achieved using MFP. My aim was to increase my food consumption, without re-gaining all the weight. I found that I loved walking, and have never looked back!
It used to be that I walked in order to eat more...........I now eat in order to fuel my body for more walking!

My walks and hikes have steadily got longer and more challenging............now for the ultimate!!
I am trying to raise money for my local Air Ambulance by hiking 56 miles (really) non-stop over 24 hours round the English Peak District, over some punishing and rough terrain - a gruelling endeavour called the "Bullock Smithy" hike (taking place 5th September).

If any of you could support me, even in a small way, my favourite charity is a very worthy cause and would appreciate your donation :-)
Please spread the word far and wide for me, and I promise I won't ever ask again (although I will keep on walking!)
