Warm ups?

I have been at work all day, walked 3 miles at lunchtime, now tonight after work I would like to do an upper body workout. Is it necessary to do a warm up before these exercises?

    It's good to warmup with 2 or 3 light sets of the exercises you're going to do, before doing them with heavy weight.

    If it's your first day lifting in a while, don't do too much! :+1:

    Or dynamic warm up.

    Arm crosses, arm circles, airplane directors.
