Custom nutrition goals - MFP too generic

I have been frustrated that it's so hard to hit my daily fiber goals, and today I did a little looking online and found that the 38 gram recommendation that MFP calculated for me automatically is higher than what various other sites say (25 grams for women).

I have also noticed that the protein recommendation seems inflated, but haven't checked the others.

Should I customize my nutrition goals? Or can you tell me a good site to double check these amounts?
