hi
I am on low carb hi fat programme
But can't seem to get the recommended 26g fibre a day in, hence not going to the toilet as regularly as I used to. Any low carb hi fibre ideas
Dee

Raspberries are a good source. Fibre is a carb which is why a lot of people are short of it on a low carb diet.

Broccoli, cauliflower, kale, spinach, romaine, chia seeds.

I forgot about flax seeds, 2 tablespoons a day is a good amount of fibre/carb ratio.

You won't go to the toilet as regularly as you did before - less in = less out. Fibre isn't a carbohydrate in many places, but "Fiber" is included in "Total Carbohydrates" in the US / Canada, so look hard at labelling.

Obviously getting fiber from good sources are preferable, but you can also supplement with Benefiber (I like to stir into my coffee) or Vitafusion Fiber Well gummies (5g in 2 of them).
