i had to make it a lifestyle change and saw goodbye to my old way of eating. now it's a game i play to eat foods i like that are low carb and low glycemic. i researched a lot on the net and have learned a lot from folks on this site as well.

    good luck to you!:flowerforyou:

Don't go on a diet! Just make changes you know you can stick to for the rest of your life. Most important: eliminate processed foods. Incorporate exercise into your daily lifestyle and get enough sleep. The results will follow.

I agree with these people... You need a lifestyle change, not just a quick fix. That is what I am doing, too. I don't want to just be skinny, I want to be IN SHAPE and HEALTHY. Best of luck to you!!!

I with YOU!! But I reallyt think I have a handle on it this time. It's not a diet but a lifestyle change. Decided to eat salads when I go w/my kids to McDonalds. I'm only fooling MYSELF if I think I can eat a Big Mac or whatever once a week.
  • I am new here, but I totally get your struggle. I'm telling myself this is not a diet, I have to do things that I can continue to do if I want to keep the weight off. I've been up and down too much and I've added weight every time. I'm only doing excercise that I like and I am only eating foods that I enjoy. I think a life-style mindset is the only way this will work for me. I wish you much success.
