Can't really see it happening. Just 3oz of chicken, 2oz of pasta, and veggies, is over 300 calories, and that's without any seasoning or sauce.

Look for Fiber Gourmet brand pasta. Just 120 calories per 2 oz serving. Put more veg and only use 1 oz of pasta and the pasta will only be 60 calories!

www.skinnytaste.com has a few under 350 calories per serving. I'd probably just mix a bunch of vegetables with 2oz of chicken and an oz of pasta and season/flavor the way I want.

3 oz chicken breast, 1 oz Fiber Gourmet pasta, 1 cup each of sliced tomato and zucchini is about 295 calories.

Personally, I'd spring for another 35 calories and add a wedge of laughing cow to make it a little creamy, but it would be fine without if you really want it under 300.

That is pretty much what I do. I prepare vegetables with let's say 70 - 100gr of chicken and then add my standard size of either 50gr of originally uncooked rice or 100gr of uncooked pasta. I don't think I have ever been at 300 calories, but 350 is very doable, especially in my case since I don't snack and don't like sweets. That gives me a lot of calories for " real " food.....:o).

When I want to lower the calories on a serving of a pasta dish, I have to just increase the chicken/veggie to pasta ratio, because pasta for the most part is what it is as far as carbs/calories.

I just made this the other night and doubled the chicken and added extra spinach and carrots. It's good but you may want to add extra seasonings:

This one is also good but I've done it with a mix of regular pasta and zoodles (zucchini noodles) to lower the calories:

You can do the same thing with spaghetti squash and do a blend of the two.
