Snacking

I am eating healthy...low carbs, high protein, and trying to take off another 12 lbs. My problem is snacking. I am eating healthy snacks...fruit, almonds...but can't seem to stop. I am not hungry, I just feel like eating. What can I do to stop this before it starts to effect my weight loss?

Well, you could just cut out snacking altogether. Or, you could lower the calorie content of your meals to allow for more snacking. You don't really need meals at all if you'd rather snack your way through all your calories. Or, you could look for lower calorie snacks like plain popcorn, rice cakes, vegetable sticks.0

I personally have one bigger allowed snack in the evening, and make myself more filling meals through out the day. like I love the skinny pop popcorn so Ill add a portion to my lunch or dinner. Or I add fruit to my breakfast meal or before or after a workout when I eat lunch. maybe pre- bagging them into portions might help also. like those tiny snack size tubberware containers.
edited for typos I made lol

Honestly, snacking is what keeps me sane and has actually helped with my weight loss journey. I work in an office, and every day I bring a few low-calorie snacks, along with a low-calorie "breakfast" and "lunch" which keeps me at bay until dinner. My intake is 1,200 cals per day, so I don't have much to work with. My typical day goes as follows:
Breakfast ~ Greek yogurt (80 cals.) with coffee of some sort
Lunch (at 1PM) ~ lunch meat roll ups, salad, apple with raisins and nut-free trail mix or something along those lines
Snack (at 3PM) ~ fruit of some sort
Snack (at 5PM) ~ protein bar or veggies and dip
Dinner (at 7PM) ~ whatever I prepped the night before (typically carb-free, protein and vegetable based)0 -
Here's some tips I pulled together.

Nuts add up quickly. Either portion very carefully and stay within that, or find alternative snacks with lower calories. This could be veggie sticks, popcorn, something like that.
Or if you are eating out of habit or comfort only, try taking up a craft that keeps your hands busy.0
