I've had this issue before. I go to add something new to my diet and when I look up the calorie, I get so many different answers. Today it is corn on the cob. How many calories in a medium 8-9 inch ear of corn? It should be so simple...

Well I don't measure my corn on the cob. I weigh it. A standard size corn would be about 90 to 120 cals with no butter. Weigh it before eating and then the cob after eating anf subtract the difference.0

Weigh it, check the .gov sites, find the closest match. If you can't do that then pick the highest caloric value you can0
