The two main problems i am having right now is i am not eating the 1200 calories that mfp says i should and their is a different between the calories my elliptical says i am burning and mfp says i am burning its off by like 300 calories. The elliptical says i am burning less than mfp. What to do

I would believe the elliptical over mfp.

Partly because it's propably more precise. Like in mfp does elliptical have different speeds? Or is it defined as moderate or light etc vague term.

Partly because it's probably best to under than over estimate exercise

Elliptical says I burned 500. MFP says I burned 588. Give or take a 100 calories. Go with the elliptical but understand that is also a rough estimate.

Whichever you go with remember that both of them have a reputation for over estimating - many people eat back 50-80% of their exercise calories to make up for this.

MFP was over estimating my calories I was burning by nearly double. I do eat into my calories burned if I need to. But just don't eat them all back. As previously posted eat back half
