losing if keep to calorie count

Can anybody tell me if I strictly keep to my 1200 calories per day will I keep losing weight even if some of the components like for instance the carb or sugar or fat % that is indicated in the breakdown of my daily food diary are more that the recommended %

    Absent a medical condition, yes, you will.

    Yes. As long as you have a deficit, you will lose weight.

    Yes. Macros are important for nutritional reasons, but you will lose weight at 1200 calories per day.

    All that matters for weight loss is calories, so you'll be fine.

    Deficit equals weight loss. The macronutrients are the nutrient part of that.

    We all want results but as long as you have sustained activity the results will follow. Maybe not at the pace you'd hope for, for example you might be gaining muscle and a better body and losing fat but not much overall weight loss. People much smarter than myself say the most fat one can lose is 1 to 1 1/2 lbs per week. Anything more likely is not fat. Keep on keeping on you're doing great !

    If they say that, however smart they may be, they are uninformed.
