What are your go-to high protein foods? Trying to get to 70 grams a day to satisfy my macros.

I keep nuts on me at all times. Today I have a mix of pistachio, peanut, almonds and cashews. I also keep hard boiled eggs in my fridge at all times as well for a quick snack.

I use portable proteins for my snacks. These include single serve yogurts, edamame beans, hummus, nuts, and cheese. I'm not a big fan of beef jerky or hard boiled eggs, but that fits the bill too.

At the end of the day if I am short I have a protein shake. You can get a whey protein powder that can add to your protein complement quickly.

Meat (this includes fish and other seafood, of course).

Low fat dairy (especially cottage cheese and greek yogurt).

Eggs. (Not a huge source for the calories, so with my usual omelet breakfast I also have either dairy or smoked salmon.)

    Tofu, edamame.

To a lesser degree: legumes, whole grains, nuts.

I rarely use protein powder, but when I have oatmeal for breakfast I like to add it.

I am always over 110 grams or more of protein without them, but on occasion I like protein bars (Think Thin or Quest) or Epic bars as a snack, as for mid-day they tend to be quite filling and a nice option when I go from noon to 9 between lunch and dinner.

Nuts are not a good source of protein!

I eat 110g of protein most days. Greek yogurt, lean meat (pork chops, chicken breast, lean ground turkey or beef), fish, protein powder is what I use the most. I use low carb/high fiber/high protein wraps a lot too (with some deli meat and cheese and sometimes an egg). Love shrimp too but I don't have it often because of the cost...

I have some eggs and cheese as well, and nuts (but again, you get more protein in 2 slices of bread than in nuts, so yeah....). And veggies. Everyone forgets veggies but a bag of cauliflower gives you 8g of protein for 80 calories, for example.

Plants all the way - Lentils (red ones are my fave) and beans (I like black, green mung, adzuki) are my primary sources.

Nut's really aren't high protein. They're mainly fat... I don't know what kind of nuts you're eating... but they must be some special nuts.

Tuna. Chicken breasts. Beef. Lentils. Beans.
