No matter what time you wake up, you should still treating it like the beginning of your day. Breakfast lunch and dinner would be at the same points in your day just adjusted a little. Breakfast within the first 3 hours of our day, lunch to follow and then supper. You should eat the same way you normally would if you worked a 9-5 job

The times that you eat and what you eat are irrelevant for weight loss. As long as you are eating less calories than you're burning throughout the day, you'll lose weight. Frankly, I'd spend more time concerning yourself with your sleep schedule. Getting good sleep is an important component of weight loss and the first week or two can be rough when switching schedules drastically.

I spent 4 years working in a call center where our shifts changed every 6 months. If you have a family, as I did, it can be a bit more challenging to fit your schedule into every else's but you should be sleeping on a schedule based on your work schedule. You need to decide if it makes more sense for you to work at the very end of your day (you go to sleep as soon as you get home) or at the beginning of your day (you go to work as soon as you wake) or somewhere in between. You should be consistent when you sleep, though, so your body can adjust to the schedule. Your eating schedule should be built around your sleep schedule, regardless of whether you want to eat foods that are traditionally breakfast at the time you wake up or in the morning.

I recently worked a long shift twelve hours away from home, with two half-hour breaks during the day. Kind of messed up my schedule. I ended up packing my breakfast with me and eating it as soon as I got to work and packed more substantial snacks at my breaks. I added another "snack" (protein shake) for the ride home. I had a slow cooker going during the day so dinner would be ready as soon as I got home, packed my lunch before I went to bed, and off I went again. My lunch bag was full of snack-size containers that I raided throughout the day. Hope that gives you some ideas.

What? No. You can space your meals however you like. You don't have to eat within 3 hours of waking and you don't have to eat 3 meals a day.

Eat at whatever intervals work best for you. Total calories are all that matter for weight loss. Total nutrients are what matter for health. If you need to eat a specific intervals due to a medical condition, then do that, but otherwise it's totally personal perference.

So you say. Breakfast is technically within the first three hours of when you wake up. I was just giving an example since the average concept is "breakfast, lunch, and dinner".
