So I've started trying to make lifestyle changes while I'm young but I have a HUGE addiction to sugar and eating any help on how to stop cravings and wanting to eat all the time? Thanks

Eat it in smaller amounts. Eat what you like, just less of it.

You're going to have to commit to eating under your calorie goal if you want to lose weight. Rethink and change your behavior around certain foods - the food is not the culprit.

With just 17 pounds to lose, set your weight loss goal to .5 lb/week. You should have a pretty decent amount of calories to work with. You can still eat your favorite things but stick to the calorie deficit. Protein may help you feel less hungry longer.

Try intermittent fasting. You fast for 16 hours and eat during an 8 hour window each day. It is supposed to help with cravings for sugar as well.

Another thing that works for some is to eat your sweets in things that also have a significant amount of fiber. Oatmeal in the chocolate chip cookies or whole fruit instead of fruit juice while accurately staying below your TDEE.
