What is a metabolic imbalance? Honestly curious, it is not a standard term, at least not one I have seen before.2

A lot of people are. You might benefit from searching the forum for past discussions on whatever issue you have - PCOS, thyroid, etc.1

Not sure exactly what you mean by imbalance, but I have 5 different metabolic diseases.
Basically, I do not have a working thyroid or pituitary. I can't seem to get to my goal weight, but:
1. I've lost more than 90 pounds and, aside from minor fluctuations, maintained for a couple of years.
2. I now weigh 30 pounds less than my endocrinologist and neuroendocrinologist thought would be possible given my medical issues.
Your progress might be slow, but you CAN make progress.

Yes it is really slow but I've managed to lose 40 lbs. but it is stalling.0
