My gym has, over the last year and a half, started to fill up steadily.
When I go now, it's a bit of a dice roll whether there's going to be a bench or a power rack available. Some days I can go in and do my routine. Other days I go in and it's just kind of... whatever compound and isolation exercises that broadly make sense to me.
It's hard to track my progress, if any, with all of these ad hoc workouts.
Is this a bad thing? If I go and work hard, is this success?
Or if not, does anyone have any tips on what to do when there's none of your regular equipment?

It's fine. You can still progressively increase on every exercise that you're doing.0
