Hello there,
This site is just amazing! I am a nurse, and also own my own Computer Repair business. I was insanely involved with photography for many years as a hobby. I joined the local club, and won many awards, and was lucky enough to be published a couple of times. Then, I lost the passion, and I have not touched my camera for over a year. I had a member on this site see a post I made, and has inspired me to get out and do some shooting. I am starting this thread to have other creative people post and inspire others to do the same.
Please feel free to post 2 or 3 of your favourite items for all to see. Also feel free to post commenst to encourage others!

I'm a painter but I also love photography!! I'm particularly into weather photography!! Lightning is by far my favourite subject! Here's a sample of some lightning shots I took in April this year and January last year respectively!
I love this one because the effect was sort of accidental! My focus was initially on the pylons, but then I realised when I uploaded it onto the PC that the storm in the distance also created it own effect!!

Stunning work.. my son loves to take photos of bugs etc. close up stuff.. that is why my camera is dented.. he was photographing a spider.. the spider jumped and he jumped back tossing my camera at the wall!

To the OP - I lost my mojo for a few years but found it again quite recently after losing a lot of weight and hauling myself out of my pit of depression. I've recently started exploring abandoned sites (urbex) - which I was never brave enough for previously. I have had a new lease of life since dropping weight and it's great!0 -
