Feeling GREAT!

I've been working at a hospital for just over a year now and was part of an orientation class the first week I was here. There were about 15 of us that spent 8 hrs a day together all week, learning, studying, and eating lunch together. Some of us still see each other frequently, but others I have not seen again. Earlier this week I had a patient say "WOW! You've lost a lot of weight since last summer. You look GREAT!" I said, "Has it been that long since you had an x-ray?" He laughed and said he was in my orientation class and had to look close at my tattoo to be sure I was the same woman he had met last year. I have had co-workers that I see daily go on and on, my husband (of course) tells me daily how proud he is of me and how good I look........but when someone who hasn't seen me in a year made that comment and compliment I just felt GREAT all day :)

I have gone from a very tight size 16 to a very comfortable and almost big size 8. I was 222 at my highest and am now going between 155 and 158. I want to make 150 so I can feel good about a 150-155 fluctuation zone, but I feel like I'm a success story and all but about 20 of my loss has been on MFP! (I'm 5'8.5" tall)

Thank you everyone for the great posts, stories, questions and answers, and for making my journey so much easier!
