Hi, I am an old obese great grandmother, I have arthritis in both knees and hips. I know I eat more than I should, about 1600 cal's per day and don't move enough. And 'catch 22', I don't move enough because I am obese and have arthritis.... Has anyone tried Alli, if they have, I'd love to hear their opinion. So far, name the diet and I have tried it, they all worked when I was young - I am no longer young.

You really don't need any pills. Have you tried getting a food scale and weighing each and every bit of food you consume ? It comes down to calories in - calories out.
Also , there's lots of threads on here where people took Alli and crapped their pants in public. One guy crapped in his bed at night while he was sleeping next to his girl friend. So clearly there's a lot of disgusting side effects with Diet pills and crapping your pants constantly doesn't seem like a good weight loss plan.

Oh my goodness!! Thank you for your reply, I had no idea it could be so bad. I will try harder to stick with calorie counting, I have a kitchen scale which weighs to a single gram. My calories goal with MFP is 1200, which isn't a lot. Oh dear, it didn't used to be so hard.... Thank you again. Onwards and downwards - I hope.
