Whenever I have tuna, I'm usually stuck in a rut with tuna salad sandwiches. I found a new, simple idea thanks to SuperCook.com. This website allows you to enter all the stuff in your kitchen and finds you recipes based on the food you already have! It's great for an uninspired cook like me.

Tuna Patties
1 can of tuna (4oz drained)
1/2 cup of canned diced potatoes
1 egg
2 tbsp breadcrumbs (I used Italian seasoned)
1 tbsp butter

1. In a bowl, mash together tuna, potatoes, egg, and breadcrumbs
2. Form patties (I made three small ones)
3. Melt butter in skillet
4. Put patties in skillet and fry until browned on both sides

I don't have a picture because I ate them too fast! This recipe is very simple, so you can add other things to the patty mix like chopped onions or other spices. I also ate mine with ketchup because I didn't have any other condiments that I thought would be good with it, but I'm sure they go well with a lot of things. They could even be made into sliders!

Here's the nutrition facts based on the ingredients I used.
