Sorry just counting calories0 -
I started at 245, 5'10" so I have heard the "you don't look like you're over 200," "don't lose too much or you will look gaunt", etc. I have lost 42.5 pounds so far. For me it has been counting calories and moving more and being fanatical about food logging and measuring. The measuring when out and about can get tricky but do your best to estimate. Your best results will come from being aware of what you eat, how much you eat, keeping track every day and keeping active. That is really all there is to it. Also I think water consumption helps a lot so make sure you get enough.0

I'm 5'10" and 195. When I told my husband how much I weighed his response was literally "oh, my god." (Thanks, honey ) Tall people can hide a lot more pounds than a short person can. I am still new to the food logging thing but the app has made it easy so far. I haven't tried it with anything I've cooked yet, though. I agree about drinking water, too.0

I'm 5'8“ and am also always told I don't look as heavy as I really am.. I love being tall! Haha0

Another here that is 5'9 and often was told that I didn't look as much as a weighed. Us tall people will always have the luxury of looking like we weigh less, but when it comes time to lose, it takes longer to show.0

I always got those comments too when I was pushing 200...I'm 150 now and you know what? I'm not thin. Size 8, look quite normal. I'm 5'11, 36 years old. Most people who knew me at the heavy weight can't believe the change...I honestly think they were just being nice before. I realize now that people lie, and I was lying myself. I wasn't healthy at a size 16. No matter how tall I am. I can wear the same sizes as my thin shirt friends. I just had to stop lying to myself.0
