Digital scales

Hi everyone,

I have a digital scale and I find that it fluctuates when I move it to different parts of the room (always on a hard surface though). Also, when I weigh myself it will say one number, but if I step off it and back on again a second or two later it will give a different reading! So frustrating! Is there any way to accurately weigh yourself?

Mine do this too. The best thing I've found is to sit them on a particular tile (same tile every single time), then step on and off a few times until I get the same reading several times.

It may not be accurate 100% of the time, but the number keeps going down a bit every week, so I'm content.

That's a great idea... Thank you!

Yeah, I keep mine on the same tile. And change the batteries, they run out faster, the more you step on it.

I found that when I weigh myself and it gives me one number but when step on it agian a few seconds later it gives me a different number but the next day I step on it and it will give me the last number and if I weigh the nest day the number stays the same no matter how many time I step on it. It seems to fluctuate only when I'm fixing to loose

I have been using this set since 2011 and it repeats 99% of the time when I step off and back on. It does have to be on a hard surface and I try to stand in the same spot each time. It gives a best guess at my %of Fat, Hydration, BMI and how many calories that I need to eat to hit the set goal and when that will happen. That number is around 2700 calories. In real life I can slowly lose at 2600 and maintain at 3000.

Best $30 set of scales I have ever used. Not sure if WM still carries this generation or not.

Mine does the same thing. I do like others have mentioned and keep it in the same spot.
