pecs and bench

Why do I fell my pecs just after i benched?.During bench press i don`t fell my chest, but after i finish it and I lift up myself from the bench i fell them contract and squeezed?/.My position is right, elbows tuck in,wrist and elbow are like the bar, shoulder blades back, arch in the back..etc.It`s just my body or this is how it`s supposed to happen?

    You use them while benching so it's not unusual to feel them afterward. It's like having soreness in your hamstrings after leg curls, in your quads after squatting, etc.

    A proper powerlifting bench uses your whole body - I feel my bench primarily in my back, delts, and triceps. I try and keep my pecs relaxed while I bench - they obviously get used, but they are not a focal point of my movement. I generally only feel my pecs after hug volume bench sessions.
