I do HIIT type workouts at least twice a week. My carbs are pretty low right now but i don't always log my meals because they are pretty redundant. Feel free to add me.

Leaning up - eat at a defecit and follow a progressive lifting programme

    Building muscle
    - go for body recomp and eat at or just under maintenance and follow a progressive lifting programme
    - or cut until you are decently lean -10-15% BF maybe then run a bulk cycle, eat at above maintenance by 500 calories and follow a progressive lifting programme

Carb cycling - meh! If it works for you to achieve your defecit ..cool
HIIT - decent cardio programme, ain't building muscle

I appreciate your thoughts I really do, but doing HIIT workouts that include progressive loading actually do build muscle and can help one lean up. I've also found...and lost 52 pounds that you dont have to work out for an hour or more killing yourself. Shorter more intense workouts working all muscle groups have really worked.. Now I just need to nail down...and STICK to a proper macro combo.
