Are any of you experts on this? I've started back with MFP August 8 and have lost 5.5kg so far. Eating a very balanced mixture of foods. But wonder if should allow myself a bit more carbs one day a week. Any thoughts.

Well since I've lost all my weight with a gross amount of carbs, I would say sureeee go for it!... But since I'm not an expert in this whole low carb/carb cycling, you should wait for someone with more experience in the area :*

    Good luck

I only eat extra carbs as fuel. I rode 40 miles today and had a Snickers and two Quest bars and a GU 100 calorie electrolyte pack. All that and more got burned off.

I like to have a Snickers or slam a few chocolate chip cookie dough Quest bars. I just do it at a time when I actually need those calories and carbs.

I guess I am meaning you have a calorie total for the week so go under 3 days, a bit higher for 3 days so your so called "cheat day" you still come under your weekly calorie balance.
