Fourth time trying to introduce myself...

...but every time I tilt my phone, it switches over to 'landscape' and I lose the whole comment, so here we go again!
61 yr old fossil, ancient history will tell that, 40 yrs ago, I began training for bb competition. Life happened, that goal was never achieved, but OH! the trade-offs!
Twelve children (not that anyone has the right to judge, I had 5 living out of 12 pregnances and married a man with 7, raising/helping to raise five of those as mine).
In forty yrs, I've gone from an ideal 142 lbs of sleek muscle, to 182 lbs of fluff over flabby, untoned, used-to-be muscle!
I first "discovered" MFP when my sons insisted that the first app I loaded onto my new Smartphone was this one...that was late May/early June of 2015. Since then, I'm down to a NOT so fluffy 159 lbs, with a hint of what I used to be so pleased with about my body.
I try to get to the gym 3X/wk, 90 mins workout, min, and when I miss the designated days and on my off days, I walk, no less than 20 mins, mod pace.
Everyday is yoga day, from 20 mins hatha, a.m. and p.m., to my alternate days, which include Sun Salutation and maybe a 20-37 minute Fitness Blender workout thrown in...that's only about once a month, though!
Health issues are ruptured disk, broken down knees and a torn rotator cuff...NONE of which make me stop striving!
Slow down, yes.
Give up????
NEVAHHHHH!!!
So there is the me in this journey to healthy and fit...
Not too terrible for a 61 year old grandmother of 50, greatgran of 8!!!
