Weighing In (on weighing in?)

First off, I'm sorry I made you read that horrible pun with your own two eyes.

Second: I know that the general consensus on weigh-in frequency is once a week, but sometimes I feel like I'm wired a little differently because one of my biggest motivators to keep myself going on here is stepping on the scale literally every time I'm in my bathroom. I log my weight in the morning, but for some reason, I love to weigh myself at night. I think it keeps me from bingeing because I can look at the scale and I'll be like 'DANG! (The good kind) it's almost bed time, and even with all of today's water fluctuation, I'm still lower than I was [a few days ago, last week, Monday, etc]! Imagine where I'll be in the morning!' And then any urge to eat an entire box of cheese-itz flies out the window because I want to see what it will be the next morning. I think if I only weighed myself once a week, I would be more tempted to eat the late night snacks because they are not an immediate threat to my next weigh in (if that makes sense).

Thoughts? Other strange motivation tactics? Add me as a friend?

I weigh daily and at night. I only log one morning weight a week. I have a certain day I do it.

I am the same way, I weigh myslef evrey morning. I just keep in mind water fluctuations. as long as the weight is going down long term, and weighing evrey day is not messing with your mind, you'll be fine.

I also weigh daily and record my weight in the morning. Like you, I'll also hop on the scale in the evening (and maybe sometimes that'll be before and after dinner just to watch how the numbers change because I'm easily amused that way...) Motivation can be found in all sorts of forms. As long as it's working for you, keep at it.
