Current training cycle is 5/6 days a week of bench with some token squats and push press. No pulling while I fix lower crossed syndrome with SI instability. It's not all flat bench, it's a mix of normal, speed, throws, negatives, board work, pin press, incline, chains and bands.

Wow, that is a boatload of benching type activities.

Hmm, I only hit bi's with any direct work maybe once every week or so.
Of course my fatceps are shrinking anyway with losing weight on this cut so it's not like it would much of a difference.

It's definitely something my programmer has worked me up to, and there is a lot of shoulder prehab that goes along with it. my arms, shoulders and lats are slowly growing on this programming and it's pretty awesome. Especially seeing how I'm maintaining weight.

It's basic work for rotator cuff. Making sure they are feeling good. Rolling a lot with a lacrosse ball, and getting Chiro to do tool work every once in a while. And making sure they are fully warmed up before I start benching everyday.

Warm up is shoulder dislocations and some gentle rotational work. Basically making sure everything is equally loose before touching the bar. Depending on what percentage of max is how many warm up sets. From just a couple to 7/8 when I'm working at 90%+

Man- I hate doing shoulder warm ups- I'm really bad about it. But I need to get on it- it's like 3 or 4 on my list of "things you should work on correcting" as I've got shoulder impingement that's going to cause issues- but pelvic stability and my upper body issues need fixing first. (I support myself fully with my erectors- so I pretty much live with a splayed rib)
always work to do- but I need to focus on shoulders before I really tear something up . sigh.
