Hello Welcome!
Split those 50lbs into small increments so it doesn't seem such a daunting prospect (IE - 6lbs per month). You'll enjoy hitting your targets and it'll take the pressure off you a little. Good luck0 -
Okay will do thanks for the advice0

Welcome to MFP! I started in April with a goal to lose 157 lbs. It seemed so daunting and at first I didn't know if I'd be able to do it. Fast forward 4.5 months later and I am down 63 lbs and have 94 to go. I still have a ways to go but it seems so much less daunting than it did in the beginning. Be honest and accurate with your logging and follow the calorie goals created for you. Also, I agree with @PinkPixiexox, breaking it down into smaller "mini goals" will really help! You can do it!!!!0
