glucose tolerance test

Hey guys,
A couple weeks back I went for my annual medication review for my blood pressure and blood test, results came back normal (blood sugar,cholesterol,liver function etc) but I got a call saying I need to do a glucose tolerance test, has anyone else had this? If my bloods were normal you would think I wouldn't need this right?
