What happens when you remove a friend?

(Sorry! I don't know what forum this should go under.)
But what happens when you remove a friend? Do they get a notification of some sort or do you just stop seeing their updates in your news feed?

I think they stop seeing updates. You can friend me and unfriend me. I promise I won't take it personally:)0

They just stop seeing your updates.
Most people are not even going to notice.0 -
That friend then hates you and plots revenge..no they just stop seeing updates, no big0

If they have 5 friends they may notice. If they have 205 friends...probably not.0

Thanks folks! Just didn't want to be too obvious that I didn't want them in my news feed!
@danieltsmoke - if I send them a box of chocolates and a pound of butter think I can avoid the backlash?0 -
They will probably see your post on here, though!0

Their heart breaks
Emotional scaring
Sudden realisation your a heartless monster.
Joking
I am sure I was unfriended. I no longer saw their updates. And was no longer friends on my end either.0 -
The same thing that happens when you get unfriended on Facebook. You each pretty much just forget that the other ever existed.0

Not trying to be mean or anything. But trying to pare down my list of friends in here to ppl I actually interact with and we are supportive/cheering for eachother on a regular basis. No point in having a ton of stuff on my news feed that isn't really motivational. Lol! That's what Facebook is for!0

Same here. Most people start out great, looking for friends to motivate them, but guess what - only YOU can motivate you! So they give up and eat pizza and ice cream again.0 -

I hear ya! I was guilty of that too the last couple weeks. But I'm back on the wagon and getting myself back on track. Like you said, no one is going to get me out of bed to go to the gym but me... No one is going to make healthy food choices for me but me. But it's nice to have some cheerleaders to help keep me focused.0 -
