I just recently upgraded and so far so good... I like that you can focus on other things than just calories and the food analysis feature is good to have. I don't know if it's necessary for everyone though, depends what you're looking for.0

I got it, still playing around, undecided whether it was a good purchase or if I should have buyers remorse.

I don't have it because I don't feel the expense is worth the little "bonuses" you get.1

I have it, and I really like it. It allows for you to set your macros which when I track macros, I find I lose weight faster. (going towards specific caloric goals, i.e protein goals). So to me..that alone was worth the $50/year.0

I track protein without premium
Yet to be convinced of any benefit

It is less than a dollar per week. Since information motivates me, I went for it!0

That's the way I saw it, a few dollars a months if you get the yearly subscription.
I bought a steel sugarloaf great helm, if I buy stuff like that I can't really convince my self to not spend money on an app that has helped me lost a lot of weight.

My husband would want that so badly lol
I think it depends on the person, I genuinely couldn't care about any of the premium features but someone else might enjoy it vastly, at this point I can easily say I would not buy it but that doesn't mean others shouldn't if they feel they can benefit from it0 -
Nope, I'm good.0

It has no ads. I will pay one billion dollars to avoid seeing ads.
It has other features too, I guess... oh, the custom macro percentages for exercise calories is nice. I made MyFitnessPal stop telling me to eat extra protein just because I mowed the lawn.0
