If you eat over your calories for the day, which do you do

I have done it all, ate at maintenance, averaged out the overage for the week and was still in a deficit and lost weight. Yesterday I was way over, I logged it, picked myself up, dusted myself off, and am back to eating at a deficit again today. Doesn't matter what you do, as log as you continue to log and eat at a deficit. We don't gain all of our weight in a day and a day isn't going to sink our fitness goals as long as we don't give up.0

I tend towards B. I accept that my losses will slow or stall for a day or two until my body evens out, and keep going.
On the other hand, I find that when I over eat I'm not as hungry the next day so I eat a little less anyway.
Agree with a few of the other replies telling you to eat if you're hungry though - hunger will derail your process faster than one day of indulgence!0 -
I tend to be less hungry for a few days after overeating, so I usually eat less. Usually.0
