I started my weight loss journey at the beginning of July and now it is September 2nd. I'm at 26 lbs lost and just today I had lost another two inches off my waist and one off my hips in the last few weeks. So far I just have the one pair of capri pants that are starting to fall off my waist.

Wow! That's awesome! Bravo! It must feel so good. What's your program look like? Calories? Workouts? I've been committed a little longer than you and I'm only down about 15.

Congrats! I can't wait until my pants get loose enough to fall off so I know I have made real progress. I have a large amount to lose though.

Hi. I eat around 1200 to 1500 calories. I swim for about an hour to two hours a day and if I can't, then I do something else.
The key thing is I have whey protein in the morning and before I go to bed. This prevents snacking and is good for you due to the protein content. Not that I'm diabetic but I've read trials that suggest this improves people's insulin levels.
So when anything is cooked, it is with olive oil now. When I have salad, it is with olive oil salad dressing.
I find that I need to eat fairly low carb. None of the weight was moving until I did that but the more fat in my diet 'olive oil' makes it possible to feel full.
One of my snacks is mixed seeds with some different kinds of raisins mixed in. Two table spoons of mixed seeds adds fibre and pretty much fills a person up.
I don't eat red meat. It makes my face bloat.
I eat eggs for breakfast. The link to them causing cholesterol has been discredited. They are a great filling breakfast.
So morning...eggs for breakfast with whey protein drink
Snack...seeds with raisins and other snacks like brown rice cracker chips and hummus
Lunch...sandwich with tuna usually but sometimes chicken or sometimes salad with a heaping dose of tuna. Olive oil salad dressing added.
Dinner...Varies but I don't eat any fries or potatoes of any kind.
After dinner...either a snack with hummus or just the protein drink (whey protein), then that's the end.
It ends up being low sugar, no sugar and about 50 to 60 grams of fat. Then, I eat about 100 of carbohydrate or lower through that can vary. Protein is always around 80 grams or so.
This was designed by a dietitician but she wanted me to eat a whole pile of carbs and I think they just go to fa and prevent weight loss. I'm at 33 pounds lost as of this morning since July 1st!
