Connect your accounts at http://www.myfitnesspal.com/fitbit
Set your goal to .5 lb. per week for every 25 lbs. you're overweight: http://www.myfitnesspal.com/account/change_goals_guided
Enable negative calorie adjustments: http://www.myfitnesspal.com/account/diary_settings
In the MFP app, go to More > Steps and choose Fitbit.
Ignore your Fitbit calorie goal and follow MFP's, eating back your adjustments. No need to log any step-based activity—your Fitbit is tracking it for you. Log non-step exercise (like swimming or biking) either in Fitbit or in MFP—never both. Exercise logged in MFP overwrites your Fitbit burn during that time.

Fitbit is probably the best thing I bought this summer.. Make sure to be in fitbit groups and add the people there.. so you can involve in challenges and be motivated to walk and move more.. if you use it along with mfp.. you will start to see changes .. good ones..
I have fitbit charge hr, I had it since july 25th.. because my knee and back problems I am not using it while running.. only walking and it's working good.. it will count steps and tells you how much calories you have lost during that period of walking/. it will also tell you how much calories you burned in that day . and tell mfp about that..
also it's good device to track your sleep. how many stairs you climb and that kinda of stuff. I just wish charge hr was water resistant so I can wear while showering and stuff..0 -
My work provides there employees with a fitbit for free it is the charge and I love it. Plus I get paid cash for using it and making my goals on the work website. So far since April I'm down two pants sizes.0
