fitbit charge.Am I doing something wrong?

I've synchronized my fitbit charge with my fitness pal, but it doesn't seem to be recording calories burned....it's recording steps...Am I missing something?

Set your goal to .5 lb. per week for every 25 lbs. you're overweight: http://www.myfitnesspal.com/account/change_goals_guided

Enable negative calorie adjustments: http://www.myfitnesspal.com/account/diary_settings

In the MFP app, go to More > Steps and choose Fitbit.

Ignore your Fitbit calorie goal and follow MFP's, eating back your adjustments. No need to log any step-based activity—your Fitbit is tracking it for you. Log non-step exercise (like swimming or biking) either in Fitbit or in MFP—never both. Exercise logged in MFP overwrites your Fitbit burn during that time.

Im having the same problem!! ive tried following all your advice and its still showing for 0 for exercise calories despite me having done 5500 steps? when i switch it back to tracking steps on mfp it says ive earned 249. does it take a few days to 'get to know me?!' I only got it today...!

If you have a zero adjustment, you need to enable negative calorie adjustments in your diary settings: http://www.myfitnesspal.com/account/diary_settings

Click on the adjustment in your diary to see the math MFP used to calculate it, but you've burned fewer calories than your activity level (sedentary, lightly active, etc.).

Try updating your dashboard then checking MFP.
