Hello everyone I just discovered this app yesterday along with pacer that tracks your steps. I started my weight loss journey August 1st so unfortunately I didn't have MF to help track my calorie count but I did end up going from 250 to 233 in one month. My goal is to get under 200 pounds. I work as a cart attendant so I am constantly walking all day, I average about 14k steps each day I work. I also go to the gym everyday and workout for about one hour. Between August 1st and sept. 1st I have missed maybe 3 days of workouts. Losing weight is a fun journey so is working out. I am starting to see gains and the feeling of seeing yourself change only makes me want work even harder. I hope to update this post on Oct. 1st and let you guys know where I am at. As a tip to you all who are just starting out just like me my advice would be to avoid all sodas and juices at all costs, stick to water and protein drinks. Sugar is the number cause of belly fat, stay away from it. Thanks for reading and goodluck to you all.

Welcome
You'll probably find this a lot easier with the tracking system - it's definitely educated me! It sounds like you are well on your way to a healthy new you but please ensure you give yourself 'rest days' - they are just as important for your body. Wishing you the best of luck on the rest of your journey!0 -

Thank you, and I know rest days are important but whenever I don't go get a workout in I feel as if I'll lose my gains or I'm wasting time lol. Most of the times though its just excitement, I find working out fun and relaxing.0 -

It's great you enjoy exercise and if it works for you to go that amount, then by all means continue
Just know that if you do miss the gym for a day or two - you won't lose your progress. The body needs rest0
