Started a 30 day challenge...WHATS GOIN ON

Okay I started a 30 day challenge on the 1st, yeah this is day 3...I haven't worked out this whole time that I've lost 30+ pounds, and I realize I need to start because I need to tighten up. I get on the scale and I've gained a couple pounds?! :( Also when will the soreness and stiffness stop? I can deal with being sore, but I feel like I'm walking funny since the muscles in my upper thighs are so tight...
