MFP not giving back exercise cals

I use my jawbone to log my walks/runs and after a workout I always go back and program the length and intensity of the workout to match the number of calories the treadmill says I've burned. After I do that, I check MFP and it doesn't give them all back to me. For example, if I burned 200 cals, it only gives me 145 or so. By the end of the day it's changed to an even smaller number. I've tried logging it straight into MFP and not logging it in jawbone and by the end of the day it still diminishes.

Shouldn't exercise calories be the one constant? Why isn't it giving me them all back?

Your UP total burn is TDEE (total daily energy expenditure), the calories necessary to maintain your current weight. Your default MFP calorie goal is activity level minus deficit. Adjustments are the difference between your UP burn and your MFP activity level (sedentary, lightly active, etc.).

    Connect your accounts at http://www.myfitnesspal.com/apps/show/97

Set your goal to .5 lb. per week for every 25 lbs. you're overweight: http://www.myfitnesspal.com/account/change_goals_guided

    Enable negative calorie adjustments: http://www.myfitnesspal.com/account/diary_settings

In the MFP app, go to More > Steps and choose Jawbone.

No need to log any step-based activity (including the treadmill). Log non-step exercise (like swimming or biking) in the UP app—not MFP. Exercise logged in MFP overwrites your UP burn during that time.
