Busy mom,student,wife,and teacher.

Ive tried this app a few times before and I want to give it another try. I usually can stick to eating healthy but i have a hard time fitting in time for eexercise. I have a two yr old daughter, i work full time as a infant teacher, im in school full time, and my husband works third shift. So things are a little crazy. Any tips would be appreciated.

You are busy! Don't worry about fitting in exercise at this stage. It's good for your head and body, but it's not necessary for weight loss. All you need is a caloric deficit. Best of luck!

ETA my tip would be to buy a $10-$15 food scale. It GREATLY simplifies food logging. Accuracy is a big help.

Try working it into your daily routine. Might feel weird at first but try marching place instead of standing: when you wash your hands, brush teeth, do your hair, wash dishes, cook, fold laundry. Even while you're reading for school. Once you get used to it you'll find it hard to just stand still.
I like to run, but on days when I can't, I can get in over an hour worth of exercise by adding in all those extra steps. Obviously it's not enough to make me sweat but it still adds up. I record each minute as a slow walk at 2.5mph (I really walk much faster but would rather but conservative with my estimate).

You're probably active at your job. Get a cheapie step tracker and you may surprise yourself. Are you able to go for a walk with your daughter?

Use your kid. I have a 3 and 6 year old. We play a lot of tag and hide and seek. They help me stretch. We turn the music ip and dance. I clean house with purpose, sounds silly but..i sweat..
I lift my 3 year old a lot. We do super man.

I work full time and go to school as well. I get it. But excersize is not a hige priority right now. I eat at a deficit abs keep on going.

We could be twins! I teach third grade and I am currently working on my National Board certification. I also have an 8 year old and my husband works overnights (9pm - 6:30 am).

If your goal is to lose weight, a calorie deficit will get you there. Buy a food scale and weight your food to make sure you are not underestimating what you actually eat.

As far as exercise, I do not exercise a lot. I bought a step tracker (Fitbit ChargeHR). During a normal day at work, I walk over 12,000 steps and my Fitbit will give me about 500 extra calories to eat ( I have MFP set as slightly active). I do try to take my daughter and dogs for a short walk at night. I also do a short 20min. workout video from Fitness Bender every other night after my daughter is in bed.

Same, PhD student here, Teacher, two children and partner who works away! I bought a kettle bell for home and try to do more steps, but what I realised this time is that it's really about the food!

Don't worry about fitting in exercise. By the sounds of it, you're doing more than enough running around throughout the day! Wishing you the best of luck :D
