It's not uncommon to get REALLY sore after starting a new workout. I would try to do Insanity today, but listen to your body. Many times once you get started, you stretch the muscles back out and you feel better. But if you get more pain, stop.0

If it's soreness, work through it. If it's actual PAIN, as in you injured yourself, then don't.0

If you are in a lot of pain do some light cardio instead like a short walk. Give yourself a day to recover and let your muscles heal. Also, hot baths are your best friend right now.0

The day after my first day of insanity, I couldn't walk. That's not an exaggeration; I tried to get out of bed and promptly fell over. I then cried when I tried to sit down on the toilet.
But as I went about my daily activities, the soreness got a *little* more bearable. By the time evening rolled around I managed to do day 2 of Insanity. It was hard but I was glad I pushed through it because it got progressively easier after that.
Listen to your body. Obviously don't injure yourself, but if you think you can work through the soreness, give it a shot. Also do lots of stretching and walking around first!0
