Do certain types of workouts cause swelling/bloating?

Hi, I know this question sounds completely ridiculous but I've worried myself enough into asking others who share a love of fitness.
I'm attending a wedding tomorrow and for the past few weeks I have been TERRIFIED of looking "fat" in the dress I recently bought for it. I understand that strength training causes the "swole" look in whatever specific area was targeted, but I also recently came across some articles stating that cardio workouts leave you bloated for weeks.
I'm the kind of person who usually can't miss a day of working out without feeling a tremendous feeling of guilt, so I was wondering if anyone had opinions of what type of exercising I could do today and tomorrow morning (so pre-wedding) without feeling or looking like a swollen balloon in my dress?
Trust me, I know how ridiculous I sound right now but unfortunately I am completely serious in my asking of any opinions on the subject. Thank you!

Relax. A beautiful lady like yourself has nothing to worry about. Sounds like you may just have some jitters that need to be set free. Why not simply go for a run. I'm sure you will feel great afterwards and have an awesome time. Enjoy.0

^ That. 98% of what we think people notice, nobody notices. Or cares.
