So I have to date lost 20 lbs total (13 since I've been on MFP). My waist has gone down significantly as well as every part except my Thighs. I'm hoping they catch up to the rest of me. I tried on a new swimsuit today and I loved it, but hate how my legs look. I have very muscular thighs, but fat on top of that. My thighs have always been bigger and more muscular. I run 3-4 times a week and do a butt load of lunges and squats as well as upper body strength workouts. Anyone else have this problem? Any exercises to help aid this problem area? I am very short at 5'0" so maybe the legs won't go down till more weight is taken off?

I too have lost some weight, and many of my body parts/areas have gotten smaller but I feel my inner thighs are huge!

My quads look great! My calves are defined, but about halfway up my thigh, the layer of fat is noticeable, but I can feel muscle underneath- grrr. I working with a trainer, who is quick to say "they don't look bad!" but I'm not happy so we are doing more focus on them (in addition to my regular cardio/strength training) by doing kettle bell swings, sumo squats and inner thigh machine work.

Hopefully I'll see some changes soon!

    Good Luck to you!

As you lose weight, you will lose fat from your thighs. Our bodies are genetically predisposed to retain fat in certain areas. Sounds like you just carry a lot of yours in your legs. The only thing you can do is keep losing weight and/or reducing your body fat percentage until you reach a physique you are satisfied with.

I have larger legs, as you can see by my profile pic. I still have fat to lose from them, but it's going away. Heavy weights have helped me tremendously to lose fat from my whole body while making the most of my muscles.
