Best easy brownie recipe?

Kids asked for brownies for our Labor Day party. My husband made some for Christmas but they were just way too dark for me and I didn't like them...

Does anyone has a good and easy recipe for non dark chocolate brownies?

I love dark and gooey. But you can lighten yours up with a little extra (a tablespoon) flour. I find the microwave brownies to be super easy. I sure helps a late night craving when all the proper boxed treats are gone. You might have the mugs ready to go and have the kids nuke their own.
