Would you track it?

I worked out this morning, and it was my third workout day this week. The goal I set for myself on MFP is to burn 1,240 and I've burned 955 already. I plan on going for a 4 mile walk tomorrow morning, as well as Sunday to complete my week (If I go over my calories burned for the week I'll feel amazing!).

I am walking from our local university to a street fair tonight. It'll be a little over 1 mile roundtrip. I was thinking of using my MapMyWalk app to see how many calories I can burn on this walk. Would you track this as an activity?

    I probably wouldn't... I'd just consider it a bonus.

Sure. In general, my rule of thumb is: if you would otherwise not have walked/biked/ran to that destination, it's purposeful exercise and it counts.

Lol! I was going to track it, but completely forgot to turn on mapmywalk so idk how much I burned or walked. For now it's a bonus! Next time

I usually keep walking as just a bonus. However, if I've walked alot and not fitted in a proper gym session then I'll log it so I don't constantly tip over on caloric intake.
