Looks like my scales are on the blink it took a few goes to get them to work in the 1st place then they decided I had lost 5 kilos in a week, pretty sure I haven't!!

Ordered some new ones which come on Tuesday so not too long to wait at least, same make just an upgraded model that works over Bluetooth, tomorrow was supposed to be my 2nd weigh-in after my 1st week of logging food, now i'm not even sure if my opening weight was correct.

Think positive, you are only a week in. Just take you first weight on your new scale as your start weight, and last week as practice.
My scale went at two months, I have never been positive of my start weight. It doesn't matter anymore. I just round it out that I lost 30 lb.

    Cheers, h.

Yeah I'm positive with it just annoyed as wanted to find out what I'd achieved in my 1st week, I know at least I've not exceeded my calorie intake on any day so that's reason enough to celebrate, I'll know on Tuesday what my new starting weight will be so take it from there

Completely understand your frustration. I finally bought a new scale after going to the Dr a couple weeks ago. My scale was at least 5-7 pounds different than theirs. My husband thought I was off my rocker until he got on it one morning and then 3 hours later he claimed he lost 3lbs watching TV. My new scale is within .4 of the Dr's so I am satisfied with that. ;-)

This might be a good thing - very few people lose weight their first week, get discouraged, and quit. Think of last week as a running start to this week.
