Meal replacement bars

Anyone know of one I can order that's under 200 calories, tastes good, and inexpensive?

They are snacks. Not enough nutrients to replace a meal.

I know. I'm not relying on it as a meal. Just to eat between meals.

The whole point of a meal replacement bar is to replace a meal for convenience....

MetRx Big 100 Colossal bars are meal replacement bars.

    Quest bars are snacks.

Always go for whole foods over these 'specialty' foods.

Right i agree. I only eat them on busy days. I meal prep on the weekends for my core meals. If there's a time where I can't warm up a meal I eat a bar. Trust me, I'd rather have real food.

Slim fast bars or variations of. Around 200 calories. And they don't taste horrible.

Pretty cheap and easy to make your own. I see a lot of recipes on Pinterest, that way you can totally control the calories.

My husband likes nuts with dried cranberries. If there's nuts on sale I buy them. It ends up being cheaper than a bar and really yummy. Since he's the one eating them I'm not sure of the calories but if it was for me I'd just weigh out a portion.

Kellogs fiber plus peanut and chocolate , 170 cals/10g protein/18g carbs (7 are fiber) super cheap and good! i get it ususally for 2.99 the box of 5.

But I don't use it as meal replacement and more like my afternoon snack.

I love them "_" and it satisfies me very much.

I'm also not a fan of "energy" bars, snack bars, or meal replacement bars, as I find that even though they contain (for me) a lot of calories, they do not have any satiety value. I appreciate the idea of convenience but I'd rather have real food...

I love how luna bar white chocolate macademia tastes, but I noticed it makes me bloated. I now carry them in my bag in case of an emergency, if I am starving and can't get a better meal/snack in.
Kind bars seem pretty natural and taste good but they are a little hard on my teeth.

I agree! Kind bars are hard as a rock!

Zone fudge graham bars, yummy! They are 210 calories. I agree though of course I'd rather have real food but if I'm tempted to get fast food for breakfast it's a nice thing to have in my purse to eat instead.
